So this particular article is the first part of how you can lose weight series.
This series describes my journey of losing a certain amount of weight in a particular amount of time. And Yes, there will be many people who will be telling you can lose 10kgs in 10 days or you can lose 1 kg in a day or you can lose quickly or you can particularly lose your belly weight or you can focus on a particular part of the body. But to be frank I should accept this is not at all true. If you have been following that kind of method or social fitness guru or so-called influencer, I am very sorry to say this is not practical. So basically before going into my journey, let me tell you that whatever you achieve within a very short span of time will not be with you for a long span of time. There is no shortcut to hard work. That’s what I believe in.
There is no substitute for hard work and no shortcut to success. Everything has its own big journey, and that must be a tiresome, boring journey and you should have a certain level of dedication, confidence whatever you are right now. So yes, coming to my journey, it was not at all simple. What you actually need to do is to love yourself for whatever you are right now. Because if you are not loving yourself, just imagine who will then? So basically, I will start this series it will be a set of parts. I will start with the first topic that is , self-love. So why you should love yourself basically the answer is, if not you then who will love you then? We should love ourselves for whatever we are currently right now. It is easier said than done, self-love is a practice.
See you have got to love yourself as there is no other way around because you are the best, you are unique. There is no one like you around in this world, definitely not. You are the best person that God has ever created, love yourself pamper yourself. If you feel like eating something, make it, eat it. If you feel like grooming, go to a parlor or groom yourself at home. Wear a good dress. Good clothes will make you feel good. Basically, I was not the same, I was a person who used to care for others, then will take care of myself. So, there came an end, I came to a point, like, why I am like this? Why I cannot care about me? We have got to love ourselves because that there comes a point of self-realization in each and everybody’s life where a person will determine that if you are not able to love yourself, how will you take care of others? You are the only person who is going to be there for you till the end of your life at any situation, anything it may be.
I was not basically like that before I was that kind of person, who will take care of others but will neglect myself, but in the end, there came a point like I felt neglected. I felt why should I not take care of myself? You can call the self Obsession but it is not basically Obsession. It is actually self-love. There is nothing wrong with caring for our self thinking about ourselves at some point of time. But unfortunately, we do live in a world where taking care of ourselves, loving ourselves is seen as a bad thing or a taboo. You will be deemed as selfish but that is not so you are not selfish, but there’s nothing wrong. If you feel like concentrating on your career, you can definitely do that, if you feel like doing something, you can definitely go for it, there is nothing wrong with it. We should give importance to ourselves first, as far as you are not hurting somebody.
The realization happened I basically started looking out for myself spending time with me on a coffee date with me anything you can say, I could have done it for me alone. You have got to accept a person as you are. You are wonderful. Believe me, Trust me. You are a wonderful one, so start falling in love with you yourself. Believe me, No one in this world is as same as you, the most beautiful creature of God. So coming to the point, this self-love is self-realization alone. You have got to realize how much you are important to me, to the world.
Look at you in the mirror see the beautiful creation of God how beautiful you are, your hair, your eyes. Whatever it might be, whatever it takes, do anything about you, that makes you fall in love with you all over again. So basically this article is all about self-love and self-care. Self-care doesn't mean you have got spend many dollars in some expensive parlor or going out for cosmetic surgery. No, it is not like that . Accepting you, as you are, is basically the self-care of yourself. Do something for yourself, like, do yoga early in the morning or you like to do something for you to make you feel fresh, feel great.Be grateful to God for creating such a wonderful human being on this Earth
Don’t feel like being yourself? Feeling sad and gloomy? Stressed up about something? Then you have got to take care of yourself pull all your shit up and start working towards resolving the issue, what can be done with whatever we are having right now in that situation. You have got to take care of yourself, take a deep breath, walk around, if you feel like sleeping, sleep, think about the situation with a fresh mind, I bet you will be able to find the solution to your problem because I believe in you, you are the awesome creation of the God. Basically what I believe is if you are able to take care of yourself, then definitely you will be able to take care of others. I never meant you should not take care of others, No, but you should come first you take care of yourself. Then you will be, mentally physically emotionally pretty much fit to take care of others. You will be able to take brilliant decisions in your life. That will definitely change the lives of others for the good.
For example, if you feel like you are not having a proper fit of clothes. You can definitely go to a store or whatever the budget permits you and gets a proper set of clothes to groom yourself every day. Get up early in the morning get yoga done or some workout. Dress up as if you are going out, trust me it is a game-changer, you will feel very much elated, happy about yourself.
Get self-affirmation in the mirror, see yourself, what a beautiful creation of God you are, how beautifully you will be able to face this world, the challenges that life throws you on your way. How everyone loves you for whatever you are right now, keep up that broad smile because that smile is the most beautiful accessory.
Self-love means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness. Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve.
