Part 4 - Importance of Exercise and Yoga

Hello everyone. Welcome to the next part of my series on how I lost weight. So this is basically all about my journey of how I was able to lose a huge amount of weight in healthy manner. This series will be about exercising in terms of yoga or gym. If you have not read my previous part, I strongly recommend you to read my previous parts as well. Part 1 was all about self-love, how we are going to accept ourselves. The second part was about the miracle drink-” water” and it's important how you need to drink it and when you need to drink it as well as the mistake that people commit while drinking water, the third part was all about the importance of Sleep and role that a good night's sleep that plays in our life .This part is about exercising.

A small remainder , there is nothing called as instant result. Everything needs patience and hardwork. Please understand that anything that comes instantly will never last long. You are doing this for yourself , can you not spare your time for you ?

So I'm going to first the correlate the important topic that I discussed in the previous post , sleep and exercising.Exercising also improve sleep for many people,specifically,moderate to vigorous exercise can increase the sleep quality for adult. Many people have the tendency to lie awake in the bed during the night. How many of us fall asleep as soon as we hit bed? I basically fall asleep as soon as I hit the bed. There are many people who are unable to fall asleep and they will be browsing their phone.

Let us discuss my favorite topic -YOGA. Yoga means-a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root. Yoga meaning to join or to unite?I request you notice how the defination gives importance to the breathing technique . Yoga gives importance to the breathing patterns.Our body performs brilliantly well , when it has the correct amount of oxygen inside it. Make sure that , you give importance to your breathing patterns,how well you breathe, breathe conciously , I know it might not be posiible to breathe conciously all the time , but we can try doing it once in a while. It provides a great deal of relaxation for the mind and the body.

The other way of excercise is hitting the gym. You can hire a trainer and do the workout correctly as per your demands.Make sure that you are fully hydrated, in a sense, have water before half an hour before hitting the gym, please do not excercise immediately after drinking water.Lift weights , do cardio or anything but under the supervision of the trainer, if you are first timer.If you are pretty much aware of what and how to do in gym, you can do yourself.Another thing is you can go to gym improve your muscle mass,lose your fat percentage, but improve your muscle mass.

Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength, and body tone. It improves respiration, energy, and vitality.

In yoga, you have to basically bring together physical and mental discipline to achieve a peaceful body and mind it helps to manage stress. It also help in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone and improved respiration energy and vitality.

YOGA IN DETAIL

I will be taking in depth about Yoga , as I did yoga only. It helped me manage my stress,overthinking,my sleeping and eating pattern.Following are the parts of yoga-

1.YAMA — Restraints, moral disciplines, or moral vows.
2.NIYAMA — Positive duties or observances.
3.ASANA — Posture.
4.PRANAYAMA — Breathing Techniques.
5.PRATYAHARA — Sense withdrawal.
6.DHARANA — Focused Concentration.
7.DHYANA — Meditative Absorption.
8.SAMADHI — Bliss or Enlightenment.

Trust me if you incorporate yoga as the daily part of your life, you can see wonderful change in your body, in your life. It will be full of positivity and miracles.Your lifestyle,personality improves.It improves your posture, increases flexibility, build muscle strength,boost metabolism, helps in lowering blood sugar,increases blood flow and keeping diseases at bay and increasing self-esteem.

WHEN I DO YOGA?

I do yoga early in the morning. As soon as I wake up and I have a glass of warm water. Then I will start doing meditation , then I will start with breathing technique.Many people underestimate the power of breathing. Breathe in deeply and then slowly breathe out, you know many So things will be happening inside your body. You don't know the power of breathing and its connection to other parts of the body and their functioning how much they affect our metabolism,our mood and the functioning of all the beautiful organs inside our body. Breathing is so much powerful .Our body needs oxygen in order to perform really well. So just improve your breathing technique and see the tremendous amount of change that you are going to experience inside your body early in the morning when you wake up there will be a very less population of people who are waking up at the same time. You will be concentrating on your breathing. You can also do your yoga late in the evening after the sunset.

Meditate slowly for the peace of your mind and just see how beautifully your day turns out how much positivity you will be having in your day. It will just change your mind your mindset,your outlook on life,everything. And apart from that, the yoga has the capacity to improve your posture as well as your spiritual well-being. I personally believe in yoga and yoga turned out to be the miracle of my life. The weight loss journey is not always about the number that you are going to see on the weighing scale know it is all about healthy weight loss that lead to increase in your muscle mass and decrease in the fat percentage of the body.

FORMULA FOR EFFECTIVE WEIGHT LOSS

When you are trying to lose weight,do more physical activity,it tend to increase the number of calories your body uses for the energy or burnt off the burning of the calorie to the physical activity combined with reducing the number of calories. Create a calorie deficit that will result in weight loss.

Benefits of yoga

First the most important benefit that the joga has given me is ,it mproved my posture. Working for long hours on a desk could not only hurt your spine but also make you feel tired at the end of the day.Most of us must have noticed that. Yoga improved my posture resulting in improved posture, concentration and more productivity at work. Other benefits are-

• Increases flexibility.
• Builds muscle strength.
• Boosts metabolism.
• Helps in lowering blood sugar.
• Increases blood flow.
• Keep diseases at bay.
• Increases self-esteem.

The main reason I prefered doing yoga instead of hitting gym because it can be done by anybody, no age restriction, no health conditions. Even pregnant ladies are advised to do yoga. Even certain amount of muscle training can also be done.In such a pandemic time , when gym are closed, we can do yoga and maintain our lifestyle.My grandparents at the age of 83 are performing yoga every single day.
